I got this product about september, 2003. I've been having trouble with brake dust on my eagle alloy rims.
My brakes have been collecting dust slowly on my rims, when i wash my car i have been recently ignoring my rims, because of lack of time. this is usually no problem, i scrub the rims and the brake dust would come right off, but recently i could not get the dust off for the life of me. I tried using a pressure washer, it helped get it a shade lighter, but not much better, i scrubbed with a variety of scrubbing tools, and i even tried some different types of the so called "spray and wash" rim cleaners, nothing helped.
I finally got around to testing out the simple green, i sprayed it on and let it sit for a few seconds, then washed it off with the hose. hmm, took a few shades off, not bad.
As you can see on the right side is a few shades lighter.
So i decided to throw a nice scrubber into the mix
You can see here the two objects i used to clean my wheels. the scrubber is a two side scrubber i had from my scrub " Black and decker-Scrub buster", its reminiscent of one of those "SOS" pads for your sink dishes.
You can really see the difference. its like brand new.
I would recommend this to anyone out there worrying about brake dust on their alloys. It really made a huge difference, and it stood out by doing what other cleaners and tools could not do.
